1. What is Veterans Care Privacy Policy?

At Veterans Care Plus safeguarding your confidentiality and protecting your personal information is a primary concern. We are committed to meeting or exceeding the privacy standards established by The Health Information Portability Act of America (HIPAA) as well as those required by the Boards of Pharmacy and the US Department of Health. We use current technologies and maintain high security standards to ensure that your personal information is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, inappropriate alteration or misuse.

2. What is the mail order return policy?

By law, pharmacies cannot accept for return to inventory any medication that has been previously dispensed. Therefore, once an order has been shipped, the pharmacy cannot accept returns or issue refunds. If you have a doctor’s appointment scheduled in the near future, we recommend you obtain needed supplies from your local pharmacy until you confirm any prescription changes with your doctor. Typical mail order fulfillment is for 90 day’s supply at a time, though you can order less at your option.
 

3. What is the Veterans Care Plus Enrollment Policy?

All enrollments are individual, annual enrollments beginning from the date that you enroll.  Memberships are cancelable at any time.  You may cancel within 30 days of enrollment and will receive a full refund of the annual membership.  Annual membership fees will be automatically applied using the form of previous payment on record.  If paying by check instead of credit card, you will receive an annual notice requesting that you mail in payment to Veterans Care Plus to keep your membership in good standing.   

Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the program. In these Terms and Conditions, "you" and "your" mean each person who has purchased a Veterans Care Plus membership.

Membership Term and Cancellation. You must pay the established membership fee when you enroll in order to enjoy the privileges of Veterans Care Plus membership. You may cancel your membership at any time. If you wish to cancel your membership, you may do so in writing. Mail cancellation letter and your membership card to: Veterans Care Plus, 3500 Parkway Lane, Suite 720, Norcross, GA 30092. Your membership will terminate effective as of the date your notice of cancellation is received. If you cancel your membership within thirty (30) days of your initial enrollment, Veterans Care Plus will reimburse your membership fee within thirty (30) days. If you cancel your membership after the initial thirty (30) day period, there will be no refund of any fees you paid. Veterans Care Plus may cancel your membership if the program is discontinued for any reason and would, in that event, provide you with at least thirty (30) days' written notice of the cancellation at the address you have provided to us. However if you fail to pay membership fees, as required, or if you violate any of these Terms and Conditions, Veterans Care Plus reserves the right to cancel your membership immediately.

Use of Membership. Your membership benefits are not transferable or assignable without our express written consent. You agree to use your membership only for your own personal use and for immediate family members living in your household. You and Veterans Care Plus agree that there are no additional third-party beneficiaries under the program.

No Change in Status. You understand that your prescription medications are dispensed only in accordance with the order of your physician or other health care provider. Membership in this program does not alter or affect your ability to obtain prescription medication or your responsibility to use prescribed medication in accordance with the directions of your physician or other health care provider and pharmacist.

Confidentiality. Your pharmacy ensures that customer prescription information remains strictly confidential. Pharmacies work with agents and affiliates, also bound to strict confidentiality, to perform certain functions under this program. Customer service for the program will be managed by Veterans Care Plus. As an extra service to you, as a part of your enrollment in this program, we may send e-mails, direct mailings, or telephone you with offers or information that may be of interest to you. For these purposes, we may use outside processing companies as an agent but they are also bound to strict confidentiality. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. We will never sell or lease our membership list.
